China is all set to open a museum in the shape of a huge hairy CRAB!

The reason behind the concept is that the museum is being built on the shore of Yangcheng Lake, which is known for its tasty crabs. The lake sees a catch of more than 2,000 tonnes of Chinese mitten crabs, an autumn delicacy that has signature furry cuffs around their claws which look like mittens.

When you think about crabs, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Well, many might think of it as a food while others would imagine the ten-legged creature walking on a beach. But have you ever imagined a humongous crab position tall as a building? Even if you haven’t, coming direct out of a nightmare, one such three-storey building in form of a crab is now a reality.
The unusual building is a museum and is ready to open in Suzhou, in the Jiangsu Province in China next year. Work is still in progress but the visuals of the quirky architecture have been released by Chinese mass media and people are having blended feeling about it.
The drone shots of the giant crab structure seem quite real, with hairy foot and ogling eyes, it’s quite creepy. The reason behind the concept is definitely that the museum has been built on the shore of Yangcheng Lake, which is well known for its tasty crabs. The lake views a catch greater than 2,000 tonnes of Chinese mitten crabs, an autumn delicacy which has signature furry cuffs around their claws which appear to be mittens.

The building which will be used as a commercial complex, contains leisure and entertainment facilities, restaurants and stores, according to Zhao Jianlin, general manager with Baxieyuan Management Company, which is building the “super crab”, according to Chinese agency Xinhua.
To enter the stainless building, guests will be expected to walk in through the mouth of the crab surpassing its big claws! Are you ready for such an expedition?
